Tips and information about sizes:
As a general rule, always follow your trainer's instructions first. They'll specify which sizes, or ounces, you should choose for sparring. We have the following recommendation for you, if this is freely selectable at your boxing club:
- 12 ounces: 47 to 57 kg body weight
- 14 ounces: 58 kg to 69 kg body weight
- 16 oz - 18 oz: 70 kg and up
